Who says finds don’t smell ?!
After digging out the German dugout, which turned out to be empty, we went to look for a new work for our shovels. Near the next dugout we came across a small hole with signals. We started the excavation war relics. Finds pleased us with both quantity and surprise. In the pit were personal belongings of Wehrmacht soldiers, razors, soap dishes, cutlery, toothbrushes and pastes, medicine, even a wooden egg, various creams in jars, royal coins and soviet coins. Separately pleased bottles with oils and perfume. They had a pleasant smell of that distant time. The smell of the past.
